Found these in my copy of Graeme Gibson’s ‘The Bedtime Book of Birds’ – I was using them as a bookmark. Switzerland makes me think of ‘Tender is the night’ by F.Scott Fitzgerald. Another stamp from regular reader James Schadla-Hall, this time on a postcard from Northumberland. I remember going to Alnwick for my A-level geography field trip and carry many memories of the visit. From hanging around the bookies in Alnwick to following the Aln from source to sea. it was also the first time I’d seen massive heavy industrial areas which came as quite a shock.
